Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate social responsibility, often abbreviated “CSR,” is a corporation’s initiatives to assess and take responsibility for the company’s effects on environmental and social wellbeing. The term generally applies to efforts that go beyond what may be required by regulators or environmental protection groups.
CCD takes CSR seriously.
We aim to have a positive impact in whatever we do, through business, our activities, and in our interaction with others.
We have an internal environmental policy, which ensures that we are considering our environmental impact, as a business and as individuals, including energy efficiency and recycling schemes and a cycle to work scheme for employees.
Community and Charity
It is important to CCD that we make a positive contribution within our community, we are active members of the Severalls Business Group, a local business networking group which gives us access to resources, expertise and professional services locally.
Members of the CCD team sit on local school board of governors and Trustee to a Theatre Company.
We are active campaigners and ambassadors of a local hospice, every year we raise funds for the hospice, by taking part in sponsored events and giving our time to help run & support other hospice organised events.
We are also actively involved and support a local foundation increasing awareness of mental health in young people and improving the lives of those suffering with mental illness.
Rett UK has been supported by CCD for more than 15 years, the charity aims to maximise the potential of people with Rett syndrome, minimise the impact and provide support for families.
CCD has a charity giving payroll scheme, allowing employees to donate to charities as tax efficiently as possible.

Our employees are incredibly important to us, they are part of our ‘family’. We have had zero staff turnover for the last 5 years, we retain knowledge and expertise, in fact many of our team have been with us for over 15 years, this is far from the norm.
